I am currently working as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer at a small firm. Given the limited technical capacity at the company, most of the technical work is done by me and my team. Some past accomplishments that I am proud of include; developing a web app hosted on Azure and configured with CI/CD, migrating from one SaaS platform to another, and developing web bots to pull and store data from websites into an Excel file. These are some of the projects that I have done that fall outside of the normal scope of a Business Intelligence Developer working with the TechOps team. In my main line of work, I have also developed numerous BI reports to help the firm understand their operations as well as facing externally and developing reports for clients. I get involved building a report from the early stages. This includes talking to the stakeholders to get the requirements, developing a data model that supports the requirements, writing the SQL queries, writing the DAX calculations, and developing the visuals. As someone who has been involved in various projects, I believe myself to be a well-rounded developer capable of understanding the problem and delivering a solution in a swift turnaround.
